Jacqueline King

Jacqueline R. King (Pohl) went home to be with our loving God on December 12, 2021. She died peacefully at home at the age of 57, after an extended illness.

Preceded in death by her father James Pohl. Left to cherish her memory are Matt DeCosta, her companion of 16 years; her mother Kay Pohl; sister Judi (Bob) Beach; brother James M. Pohl; daughter Jennifer (Patrick) Davis; son Ryan King; and grandsons Conner, Cooper and Crew.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us". Jackie would not want our hearts to be saddened with grief but instead uplift each other and the world around us with light and love.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department EMS would be appreciated (Jackie's father was one of the first EMT squad members), P.O.
