CUYAHOGA FALLS - Leonard L. Hazen, 81, went to heaven on Feb. 4, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. Born on February 17, 1927 in Ellwood, PA, he served in the US Navy during WWII and has resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 54 years. He retired from Orrville Leather in 1991 and he was an active member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls where he served as a Deacon and was a proud member of the Brown Baggers.

A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy, daughters Cyndi Ott and Paula Pearson; grandchildren Colin Ott, Cameron Ott and Jessica Pearson; great-granddaughter Rachel Ott; brothers James (Alice) and Dennis (Barb); brothers-in-law Milford (Shirley) Fox and Edward (Rose) Fox and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 104 W. Portage Trail Ext, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, Rev. Stephanie Crossland officiating. Final Resting Place Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his Church in his memory.
