Agnes Bagley

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Agnes Bagley, 106, passed away peacefully April 8, 2016.

Agnes was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, toured the Titanic at the age of 2 and came to the United States when she was 12. While in Scotland she volunteered for many Scottish organizations. She worked 40 years managing a dental office for Dr. Day DDS of Akron. After retirement, she volunteered at Summa Health Systems in labor and delivery until the age of 102. She was a member of Clan McKenzie, Daughters of Scotland, Daughters of Scotia and the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

Preceded in death by her parents John and Euphemia Rankine; sister, Peggy; brother, Charles and her husband of 59 years, Frank, she is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances (John) McKinley of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Maggie (Dubravka Maric) McKinley of Cincinnati, Molly (Jeff Dills) McKinley of Norton; Megan (Stuart) Deal of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Asher and Daisy Josephine Dills; special niece, Margaret Oppihle; close friends Anna Belle, Kim, Penny and Carol.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13 in The United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Dr., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Pastors Kim Barnett and Ryan Lennon officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to her church or Great Lakes Hospice Foundation, 1530 W. Market St, Akron, OH 44313. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
