Alan C. Adkins

Alan C. Adkins, 65, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on January 28, 2023.  Alan was born on April 18, 1957 in Akron, Ohio, attended Cuyahoga Falls High School and resided in the area most of his life.  He moved to Florida for a brief time, graduating from the Motorcycle Mechanic Institute (MMI).  Alan had been retired for several years, but prior to that, he worked at the Iron Pony and Step 2.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Leona Adkins (nee Doan), and his long-time companion, Patty Adkins.

Alan will be missed by his sons, Ryan and Nicholas Adkins; grandsons, Daymion and Austin; brothers, Gary (Cindy), Chuck (Carrie), Paul (Alice), and David (Alex) Adkins; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Per Alan's wishes, cremation has taken place. Guests are welcome to visit with the family on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
