CUYAHOGA FALLS - Albert Dean Ferguson, 83, passed away July 13, 2006 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Ferguson was born in Cumberland, Maryland and resided most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. He was a 1942 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, served in the Army during WWII and retired as head custodian of Cuyahoga Falls High School with 20 years of service after working 24 years at General Metal Products.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, JoAnn; children Kelly L. Lunsford of Tallmadge, Shelly Linn (Richard) Wise of Stow, Susan Ash of Cuyahoga Falls, and Dana Smith of Kansas; grandchildren, Alex Dean Wise, Meghann, Dayna and Jordan Lunsford, and David and Danelle Ash; sister, Marion Roxbergh of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Bill Ferguson of Arizona; several nieces and nephews and close friend, Chris Lamphear.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to John and Jolene of Harbor Light Hospice for their exceptional compassion and care.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service, Chaplain David Hook officiating. Inurnment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The Family requests donations to Harbor Light Hospice, 734 C Alpha Dr., Highland Heights, OH 44143 in his memory.
