Alice Giles

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Alice "Corkie" Giles, 84, passed away July 21, 2012. She was a life-long Cuyahoga Falls resident graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1946. She worked in the kitchen at Bolich Middle School and was a very loving mother and grandmother that truly enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Preceded in death by her husband, "Ozzie" Herman and 10 brothers and sisters; she is survived by her Daughters, Ginger (John) Salter of Kent and Tracey Lynn Giles of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Sarah (Dave) Salter-Danko, Erin Salter and Nicholas Giles; brother, Jim (Shari) Humm and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and memorial calling will be held from 6-8 on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. In lieu of other remembrances memorials,may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., PO Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398. . Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
