Alice Royer

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Alice Lee Royer (nee Mathis), 91, passed away May 13, 2014. She was born in Greenville, KY and resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. Alice was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, Hampton-Falls AARP, DAR Falls chapter, Kentucky Historical Society, Summit County Genealogical Society and was a troop leader and neighborhood chairperson in the Girl Scouts.

Preceded in death by her husband, Earl; she is survived by her daughters, Linda Royer, Marsha Henry (Jim), Liz Royer all of Cuyahoga Falls and Peggy Lane of Tallmadge; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Maxine Mathis.

Friends may call from 4-6 PM on Thursday May 15, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Interment will be private at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa 444 N Main St. Akron, OH, 44310. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
