Allan III

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Allan Trey Carleton , 42, passed away December 5, 2014. He was born in Memphis, TX and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 13 years. Allan worked as a letter carrier for the USPS at the Kent Post Office. He was extremely active in his children's lives. Allan was training with Boy Scout Troop 155 to become a leader to spend even more time with his son. One of his other greatest joys was listening to his daughter play on his childhood piano. Allan was a talented singer and enjoyed performing with a local band.

Allan was the most loyal, kind- hearted friend anyone could ask for. He considered his many friends to be family and would do anything for them. Allan would entrust the care of the family he left behind to any one of them.

He is survived by Lori, his best friend and loving wife of 18 years; children, Jacob and Jacqueline; parents, Vicki and Allan Carleton; brother, Nathan Lee (Ayoola) Carleton; grandparents, Jack and Betty Rose; Lori's parents, Gary and Kathy DeRemer; Lori's brothers, Gary and Jeff (Michele) DeRemer. Allan had three very special nephews, Kyle, Tai and JT.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9 p.m. at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10 at Grace Baptist Church, 5915 Rhodes Road, Kent, OH 44240, Pastor Bruce Chouinard officiating.
