Alma Canfield

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Alma M. Canfield, 95, passed away May 17, 2016. She was born in Akron and resided in Stow for the past 41 years. Alma worked for Martz Mold/Machine Inc. retiring when she was 89 years old. She was a Life Member of the Eastern Star Falls Chapter 245 for sixty-five years where she served as Treasure for 30 years. She belonged to the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, Ohio Country Western Music Assoc., Unattached Dance Group and many other organizations.

Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lyda Canfield: brothers, Charles and Palmer; sisters Opal and Garnett. She is survived by her sister, Deloris Cameron of Minerva; nieces Christine and Lorrie; nephew, Christopher and sister-in-law Lee Canfield and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
