Alma Gutekunst

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Alma E. Gutekunst, 98, passed away suddenly July 8, 2017. Alma was born in Orchard Park, NY to Frank and Carrie (Erdman) Errington. She was active in the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Colden NY, the Colden Senior's and served for many years on the Colden Zoning Board. She enjoyed her years of working with students while driving school bus. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling to visit her daughters and golfing.

Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Glenn, she is survived by her children, Gail (David) Rothman of Vermont, Carol (Gary) Whidden of Cuyahoga Falls and Brenda Webb of Florida; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her extended family and friends.

Friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday, July 12 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2726 W. Market St., Fairlawn, OH where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Rev. Rick Gordon officiating. Alma's final resting place will be in Colden, NY. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
