CUYAHOGA FALLS Andrew Noall Couch, 89, passed away March 15, 2014. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 12 years. Mr. Couch graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1942 and served in the U.S Navy during WWII. He worked as a carpenter for Locals 639 & 212, retired at the age of 62 and remained a member of the Union until his death and was also a member of the VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062. He was a lifelong member of The Salvation Army and also delivered Mobile Meals weekly.
Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Audrey; son, Gary C; and granddaughter, Teri Couch; he is survived by his daughters, Audrey Jo (Jim) Brady of Coshocton, Carol Sue (Ken) Moore of Cuyahoga Falls; sons, Andrew A. (Sally) of Copley, Dale B. (Cheryl) of Copley, Thomas D. (Barbara) of Ft. Myers, FL; 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19 in The Salvation Army (Akron Citadel), 190 S. Maple St., Akron, OH 44302 where friends may also call 1 hour prior to an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, March 20. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
