Anna Savoy

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Anna M. Savoy, 102, passed away June 15, 2010. Mrs. Savoy was born in Italy and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph 's Catholic Church and had worked at Polsky's and Birnbaum's Women's Clothing Store. She was an avid gardener and an active volunteer who had volunteered many years at the Summit County Home for the Aged. Following her retirement she was a member of the Quilting Club at St. Joseph 's for more than 10 years.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her son, John, her 3 brothers and one sister, she is survived by her children, Robert (Joanne) Savoy of Sudbury, Mass, Maryann Koerber of Wilson , NC , Peter (Betsy) Savoy of Akron and Ruth (Paul) Moore of Huntington Woods, MI; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 19, 2010 in St. Edward's Chapel, 3125 Smith Rd. Fairlawn , OH 44333 .
