Arminta Belet

Arminta H. Pfeiffer Belet, 88, passed away February 4, 2010. She was born and resided in Akron most of her life, attended Ellet High School, graduated from Buchtel High and attended Kent State University. During World War II she was "Rosie the Riveter" at Goodyear. After that she worked for Kelly Services, Ohio Edison and retired from Roadway Express. Arminta was a longtime member of Fairlawn West UCC and a current a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Sue Styers; husbands, Earl Pfeiffer and Jacques Belet, II; son Bruce Cameron Pfeiffer and sister, Elma Mae Herman, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Theresa (Mark) Fairbanks; grandchildren, Julia (Rand) Pfeiffer Fike and Bruce Earl Larry Pfeiffer; nephew, John (Penny) Herman; nieces, Marilyn (Robert) Freeman, Nancy Pfeiffer, Patricia (Gary) Roth, Karen (Jerry) Farrell, Karol (Donald) Wyness; great niece and nephew, Melissa and Jonathan Herman; stepchildren, Jacques Belet, III, Andrea Belet, Christina Briggs, Cindy Morris; and sister-in-law, Kathryn Pfeiffer.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday in Mt. Peace Cemetery. Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. The Family will receive friends at Pilgrim United Church of Christ from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Monday.
