Arthur Clark

TALLMADGE - Arthur "Artie" Clark, 74, passed away August 19, 2018.

He lived in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life before moving to Tallmadge. Artie served his country in the U.S. Army going on to retire from the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department after 35 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and loved his trips to the outer banks with his family. Artie enjoyed his yearly cruises, trips to the casino and reunions with all of his old classmates from St. Joseph and Cuyahoga Falls High. He was a member of the Local 494 Falls Firefighters, American Legion Post 281, VFW Post 1062, his 40&8 group and the Eagles.

Preceded in death by his parents, Francis E. and Florence; brother, Kevin D. and his beloved Basset Hound, Beauty; he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara; children, Cindy (William) Konic, Mike (Melissa) Neill and Deann (Richard) Lynn; grandchildren, William Jr. (Jen), Libby (Jeremy), Ryan (Amanda), Cara (Mike), Alicia (Jason) and Ashley (Dan); 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joann Loftus and Frank (Marilyn) Clark nephews, Mark and Keith; and niece, Erin.

The family would like to thank the staff of Summa Hospice, Phil, Shavonne and Anna.

Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Thursday August 23, 2018 and one hour prior to an 11 AM funeral service on Friday August 24th in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
