CUYAHOGA FALLS - Arthur M. Yoder, 89, passed away September 15, 2007.

Born in Wooster, Mr. Yoder served in the Army during World War II. He came to Stow in 1957 and had lived in the area since then. Art had worked for Ben Franklin, drove for the Blind, attended Stow Community United Church of Christ, joined Masonry in Holmes County, sang in the church choir and sang with the Akron Derbytown Chorus for 48 years.

Preceded in death by his son Dale A., he is survived by his wife of 66 years, Laverle; daughters Kay (Clarence) Flinn and Barbara Ann (Sean Hausknecht) Davis; grandchildren, Krista (Marty) Schmidt, Kenneth (Stephanie) Mainarick, Erin (Shane Kinker) Davis and Kira (Mike Thompson) Davis; 9 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 20th, at the Stow Community Church, 1567 Pilgrim Dr., Stow, Rev. James D. Edwards officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
