Audrey Mellinger

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Audrey C. Mellinger, 95, died November 1, 2004. Mrs. Mellinger was born in Kent and resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1922, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1927. She had worked in accounting in the Activities Dept at Cuyahoga Falls High School for 19 years and had been a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ for 77 years. She had been a member of the Daughters of America since 1927, a 58 year member and past worthy matron in 1971 of Falls Chapter 245 O.E.S., a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society and a former Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harold "Pete" and Barbara of Stow; grandchildren, Diane Mellinger (Steven) Shew of Danville, OH, Scott Mellinger of Denver CO, Laurie Fronek of Kansas City, MO and Heidi (Ron) Stephens of Cuyahoga Falls; great-grandchilden, Abigail and Audrey Shew and Chris and Nicole Gray.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4th in the Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
