CUYAHOGA FALLS - Barbara A. Garner, 69, passed away September 29, 2004.
She was born in Akron, Ohio and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for many years moving there from Wisconsin. She had attended the University of Akron and retired as a lending officer from FirstMerit Bank. Barb loved, lived and enjoyed life to the fullest.
She is survived by her brothers, Lowell (Linda) Garner of West Virginia, John (Chris) Caporlett of Akron; niece and nephews, Andrea, Phillip, Edward and Matthew and close friends Cecelia, Nancy, Anne and Beth.
A special thanks to Akron General Medical Center ICU and Select Specialty Hospital for their loving care and compassion.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery. The family suggests donations to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264 in her memory.
