Barbara Gill

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Barbara Kay Gill, 74, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away October 4, 2015. Born July 30, 1941 in Lodi Township, Athens, Ohio to the late George Edward and Maude Ellen Halbirt. She had been resident of the Falls since 2010. She previously lived in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Barb was also preceded in death by her loving husband, David Edward Gill and her sister, Marsha Joyce Elkins. Barb is survived by her children, Kayanna R. Henderson, Michael J. Smith, Diana D. Tenney, Matthew D. Smith, Marcus D. Gill, their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her sister Georgia E. Johnson, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 4 to 6pm at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH .Funeral Services will be held at the Broadman Baptist Church, 350 E. Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on Thursday, October 8 at 10am. Pastor Chris McCombs officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio.
In lieu of other remembrances, memorials are requested in Barb's name to Broadman Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
