Barbara Happeny

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Barbara Ann Happeny, 75, passed away July 27, 2021. She was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania on December 10, 1945. Barbara earned a Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in 1966.

She was a fifth grade school teacher for 32 years and retired from Kent City Schools in 1998. Barbara was also a member of First United Methodist Church. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother.

Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Betty Bricker. She is survived by her daughter, Megan (Dean) Wagner; grandchildren, Faith and Chad; and brother, John (Susie) Bricker.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021, at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the "Music Ministry" of First United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
