Barbara Lehner

Barbara Jean (Scott) Lehner died on December 20, 2020.

Mrs. Lehner was born on October 23, 1932 in Portsmouth, Ohio.  A homemaker for most of her life, she was a cooking enthusiast, and loved cross stitch, quilting and knitting for her family.  Working in yarn and fabric shops after her children were grown fed her joy of creating for others.  All her creations are treasures to those who received them.  She loved the Buckeyes, her husband, home, and family.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John W. Lehner, Jr.  She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kathy (Ken) Kuzas of Cuyahoga Falls, Scott (Terry) Lehner of Buckeye, Arizona, Laura (Jess) Lehner-Ennis of Hudson, John (Michelle) Lehner of Defiance, Ohio and Barbara (Rick) Roberts of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Mike (Kyrstyn), Chris (Katie) and Matt Kuzas, Jeff (Jenni) and Dan (Courtney) Lehner, Will and Sam Ennis, Linden and Jack Lehner, and Sarah and Aaron Roberts; nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Julie) Lehner of Atlanta, Georgia, and Joe (Dara) Lehner of Raeford, North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private graveside service for the family with a memorial service at a later date.  Pastor Mike Ward officiating.  Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.  The family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls Gifts and Memorials Fund.
