Barbara Patterson

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Barbara A. Patterson, 87, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2015 with the family who loved her by her side. She was born in Akron on May 12, 1927 and lived in Akron and Cuyahoga Falls her entire life.

Her pleasures in life were simple- reading, watching football, and working puzzles. By far her biggest pleasure was her family. Over the years she bestowed many selfless acts of kindness on her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Gregg (Cathy). Mom leaves her heartbroken children, Kym (Maurice) Beaulieu, of Yorktown, VA and Keith (Tina) of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Christopher (Victoria) and Suzanne Beaulieu and Lindsay (Ryan) Stovall; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Maddox Beaulieu, Graham and Silas Stovall.

She will also be missed by her special cousins, Sharon (Harold) Bauman, Gail (Richard) Harbert, and Pamela (Timothy) Miller, for whom she was almost a second mother.

The family wished to thank her generous and kind caregivers, Kathy Beeler and Sarah Lindsay, who allowed her to remain in her home.

In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest 175 E Market St. Akron, OH, 44308.
