Bart Mathies

Bart R. Mathies, 48, passed away August 16, 2006.

Mr. Mathies was born in Akron Ohio and resided most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls working in the tree service industry. He loved fishing and spending time around a campfire in the back yard with family and friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Bart R.; sister Lisa and brother, Paul "Butch", he is survived by his mother, Eloise Mathies of Munroe Falls; sister, Teresa (Patrick) Smith of Cuyahoga Falls and brother, Ted (Judith) Mathies of Marlboro: aunt Bonnie (Roger) Russell of GA; nieces and nephews, Paul Jr., Julie Carlile, Bret and Brent Mathies, Zack and Courtney Smith, many great nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221 where friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the family in his memory in care of the Funeral Home.
