Barton Hamilton

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Barton "Bart" Hamilton, 93, died June 6, 2005. Mr. Hamilton was born in Davenport, Iowa and was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He had worked for the U. S. Post Office for 39 years, had served with the U. S. Navy, and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls and Star Lodge 187 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 70 years, Florence and is survived by his son, Bart (Jeannie) Hamilton of Akron; daughters, Virginia Boyd of Cuyahoga Falls and Suellen (Roy) Gifford of Paris, MI; grandchildren, Barton, Lee, Christina, Ernest, Sean, Pamela, Barbara, Douglas, Alexander, Roger and Mark; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday in the United Presbyterian Church 2819 Hudson Dr. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating where friends may call beginning at 11:30 am Friday. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The Family requests memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church or your favorite charity.
