Bernice Briggs

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Bernice M. Briggs 90, passed away May 10, 2014.
Bernice was born in Altoona, PA to John and Mary Quirin and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1957, recently moving to Stow. She had worked as an operator for Ohio Bell Telephone for 13 years and later as a clerk at the Cuyahoga Falls Post Office.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Briggs and brother, John Quirin, she is survived by her children, Karen (Sam) Simmerman of North Canton, Mike (Sue) of Kent, Jim (Sharon) of Stow and Rick (Danae) of Nashville, TN: eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends including the staff at Stow-Glen Retirement Village.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 14 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Fr.
