Betty Cox

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Betty Louise Cox, 82, passed away May 24, 2011. Mrs. Cox was born in Ashland, OH and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls and Stow since 1946. She was a retired nurse, having worked in nursing homes and private duty and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. Other memberships include Chapel of Prayer, Unity Chapel of Light, AARP and Ohio Nurses Assoc.

She is survived by her sons, Darryl S. (Donna) Cox of Mentor, OH and Alan R. (Elaine) Cox of Augusta, GA; daughters, Faith (Mike) Greer and Leslie (Ken) Knowles, both of Akron, OH; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, May 27 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
