Betty Jackson

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Betty Jackson, 88, died June 11, 2008. She was born in Iowa on August 20, 1919 but moved soon after with her family to Cadillac, Michigan. Subsequently, she moved to Albion, Michigan where she lived 25 years. She was graduated from Western Michigan University in 1942 and taught in St. John's Michigan until 1945 when she came to Akron to teach. She retired in 1980. She was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Assoc. and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

She leaves Helen and David Campbell, Sue and Pat Nelman, Megan and Dean Wagner, Dr. and Mrs. Forrest J. Waller and many other friends.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted in Oakwood Cemetery at 1:00 pm Friday.
