Betty Shuman

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Betty Shuman, 82, passed away September 13, 2010. She was born in Deerfield, OH and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 52 years. She worked as a head cashier for Kroger's and was a member of the Springfield Assembly of God. She enjoyed taking ceramics classes at the Quirk Cultural Center and gardening.

She was preceded in death by husbands Robert D. Moore and James B. Shuman and sister Gwyn Gaumer; she is survived by her children David (Jackie) Moore of Cuyahoga Falls; Star Jensen of North Canton and T.J. (Liz) Moore of Dover, OH; Grandchildren Eric (Theresa) Jensen, Kelly Chaffee, Brittany Moore, Megan Moore and Zeke Veal; great-grandchildren Travis, Jocelyn, Regan, Mckenna; sister Juanita Bloss; and friends Mackey and Ruthie. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Heather Ridge and In House Hospice.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday, September 15th in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 where a funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Thursday. In Lieu of other remembrances Memorials may be made to Mighty Wind Christian Outreach, 206 Summit St. SW, North Canton, OH 44720.
