Bettye J. Schumacher, 74, passed away June 28, 2007. Mrs. Schumacher was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls her entire life, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1950.
Preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Linda of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Jeffrey of Akron; granddaughter, Stevie Schumacher of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Nancy Norris of Copley and Sandy (Jim) Williams of Lake Havasu City, AZ and brother, Thomas S. "Steve" (Sharon) Toomey of North Canton.
The Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, Pastor Kathleen McKenna officiating. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Falls Firefighters and Community Society, Inc. P.O. Box 189, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
