Beverly Kirk

Beverly Ann Kirk, 76, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018, after a brief illness.
Originally from Patton, Pennsylvania, she was a graduate of Patton High School in 1959. She was previously employed at JC Penney in Cuyahoga Falls for many years. Beverly enjoyed politics and many visits to the public library. She was an avid reader of mysteries and international espionage. She also enjoyed poetry and on-line Scrabble. She and her beloved husband, Robert Allen Kirk Sr. enjoyed vacationing with their family to the coastal beaches and various national parks.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Allen Kirk Sr., her parents, Ralph Hoover and Jeanette (nee Lechene), of Patton, Pennsylvania, and her sister Darlene. Beverly is survived by her children: Robert Allen Kirk Jr., Polly (nee Dietz) of Massillon, Richard Kirk, Joan (nee Rourke) and Ashley Rose of Cuyahoga Falls, Christopher Kirk, Jennifer (nee Katterheinrich), and Ben, Alex, Caleb, and Camille, of North Benten. Also surviving are her brothers, Gary Hoover (Patton, Pennsylvania, Earl (Ravenna, Ohio), and sister, Marty, of Connecticut.
Beverly's family would also like to extend their gratitude to Hospice of Altercare for their care, assistance, and support.
Per Beverly's request there will be no services or funeral. Penned in her journal she revealed a beloved poem, "Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all." Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
