MUNROE FALLS - Bonnie L. Derita, 71, passed away March 10, 2018.
Born in Akron, Ohio, Bonnie resided in Munroe Falls for many years, where she devoted her time to being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her best friend, Nancy Tapp. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Michael Derita; children, Michael D., Danny W. (Stacey), and Wendy Derita (Chris); grandchildren, Katelynn and Kaylee Plaugher, Rachel Durst, Dallas Plaugher and Alexis, Baron, and Tyson Derita; greatgrandchildren, Oni and Osiris; sisters, DeAnna (John) Keith, and Kay Walters; niece, Ella and long-time best friends, Sharon Forshaw, Joyce Cooey and Susan Semonin.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice of VNS.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Committal services will be held on Thursday March 15 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
