Bonnie Jean Shultz

Bonnie Jean Shultz, 83, passed away July 8, 2024. She was born in Akron to the late Paul and Evelyn Shultz and was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident. Bonnie received a BS from Kent State University and later earned her Master’s from The University of Akron. She worked as a teacher for 28 years at Cuyahoga Falls Schools, Akron Schools and later on at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. Bonnie was a member of OES Falls Chapter, Salvation Army Auxiliary and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. 

Bonnie loved animals, nature and children. She will be deeply missed by all of her beloved friends. 

Preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Ruth Shultz; Cousin, Jerry (Alice) Baker; she is survived by her cousins, Carolyn (Michael) Arnold (nee Baker) and Suzanne Carlson (nee Baker). 

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Monday July 15, 2024, at the First United Methodist Church 245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Church Gifts and Memorial Fund First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls or the American Heart Association.
