Brian Kelly Arm was born on December 12, 1970. He passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2023, after suffering a heart attack during a family vacation.
Brian had a larger-than-life personality. He loved fiercely and was completely devoted to his family and circle of friends. He loved his wife passionately, and never failed to call several times a day just to say hi or see how she’s doing. He was his kids’ biggest fan and champion. He loved playing sports (especially basketball) with his son Logan, and took pride in sharing his jersey number ‘5’ with him. He enjoyed coaching his daughter Arabella on soccer and track & field, and he made sure he helped them both with their homework or school activities any chance he got. He also enjoyed spending time with daughter Gabrielle and grandkids, especially camping with them, together with his Mom, Dad and family.
Fitness and home improvement were two of his biggest passions. He built the basement and pergola in his new house with his own hands, and was proud of all the hardwork and effort he put into it. Another big part of his life was travelling. Every year, he made it a point to travel to different places and experience new adventures with his family. His loved ones take solace in the fact that he was doing what he loved most during his last moments.
Brian got his degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Jackson College, and put that degree to use at First Energy as a Transmission Systems Operations Supervisor.
Brian is survived by his beloved wife Claudine, daughters Gabrielle and Arabella, son Logan, parents Bill and Donna, father and mother-in-law Alfredo and Violeta, sisters Toni, Sheila (Jimmey), sister-in-Law Candice (George), brother-in-law Carl (Hannah), grandchildren Emberly, Mylah, Aralyn and Aziah, nephews Brandon, Nathan, Daniel and Edward, nieces Megan and Rayne, lifelong best friend Mike and many uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Hubert, Wanda, Henry and Marie, Uncles Duane, Darrell and Jimmy, Aunts Lois, Connie and Charlotte, and brother-in-law Duane.
