Brian Swisher

Rittman -Brian Lee Swisher, 42, passed away unexpectedly Saturday July 17, 2010. Mr. Swisher was born in Akron and lived in Rittman for the past 7 yrs. He worked as a mechanic for Stillwell Equipment in Peninsula for the past 25 yrs. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting and spending time with his friends and family and was known for his annual pig roast.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Swisher of Akron and son, Levi Swisher of Rittman; grandchildren, Emma and Shayla Swisher; mother, Donna (Roger) Everett of Macedonia and father, Charles Swisher (Sandy Lasalle); sister, Valerie Lee (Doug Spicer) of Reminderville; step-siblings, Frank (Tina) Lasalle, Wayne Lasalle, Beneva (Mike) Jeffries, Linda (Charlie) Zerhing, Eric Mitchell, and Chrissy Mitchell; nephew, Tyler Rinehart; brothers in love, Doug (Kim) Mitchell and Donnie Copley; and his loving family at Stillwell Equipment.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, July 21 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 where a funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 22. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
