Bruce "Batman"

BARBERTON - Bruce Wayne Priebe "Batman," 60, passed away September 24, 2014. He was born in Cleveland, OH, and was a resident of the Akron and Cleveland areas for most of his life. Bruce was a dedicated father who worked as a machine tool salesman. Bruce was perpetually curious; he was a scholar of life, who enjoyed reading, hiking, bicycling, building computers, and cooking for his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, who also called him "Papa."
Preceded in death by his father, George Priebe, he is survived by his mother, Nancy; children, Joshua (Michelle), Kerry (Christian) Baer, and Jonathan (Kattie); 11 grandchildren; brother, Alan (Elizabeth); step-sister, Paula Knarr.
Memorial calling will be held 2 hours prior to a 4 PM memorial service on Sunday September 28, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Portage Path Behavioral Health, 340 S Broadway St., Akron, OH, 44308. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
