Calvin Alexander

PENINSULA - Calvin "Ed" Alexander, 93, joined his Heavenly Father on February 2, 2018. Ed was born on December 14, 1924 to Andrew and Enez Alexander in Akron, OH. He served as a First Class Aviation Radioman in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Tulagi. Ed was a member the Masonic Star Lodge #187 as well as the Tadmor Shriners.

Preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Alene "Lee" son, Gregg; sister, Juanita and brother, Loren. Ed is survived by his daughters, Jill Urbank and Heidi Alexander; son, Todd (Robbin); 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ellen Masuga.

Cremation has taken place and the family will be having private services. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
