Carl Butcher

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Carl Butcher, 70, passed away September 28, 2021. He was a 1969 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and worked as one of the Stutzman Boys. Carl enlisted during the Vietnam War and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a Master Sergeant with 22 years of service to his country. His career included Drill Instructor at Parris Island, Marine Corps Recruiter and Interrogator/Translator trained in Russian and Arabic.

Preceded in death by his mother, Jackeleen Butcher; father, Carl Butcher Sr; and daughter Jessica Butcher. He is survived by his sons, Matthew (Alisen) Butcher, and Gregory (Valerie) Butcher; sister, Janet (Don) Price; 6 grandchildren;1 greatgrandchild; 1 nephew; 2 great nephews; aunts; uncle; cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held 9:30AM to 10:30 AM with funeral services to follow on Saturday October 2, 2021, at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Veterans section.
