Carl Mcnair

Carl E. McNair, 85, passed away March 3, 2006. Mr. McNair was born in LaTrobe, PA and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. He retired in 1982 from B. F. Goodrich, having worked in the Belt Room with 40 years service. He was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Army, was a member of the DAV Buckeye State 8 and Stadleman Post and a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael McNair and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian A; son and daughter-in-law, Carl Patrick and Alicia of Cuyahoga Falls, grandchildren, Katie (Luke) Bowers, Amy McNair, Chad Durastanti (Liz Hiles) and Alex Durastanti and great-grandson, Jude Durastanti.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 pm Monday in Oakwood Cemetery and a memorial mass will be conducted at a later date.
