Carol Morgan

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Carol R. Morgan, 71, passed away December 27th, 2015. She was born in Alliance, OH and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 20 years. Carol was a wonderful, loving Mother and friend who loved spending time with her family and friends. Her three grandchildren were the joys of her life. She also enjoyed traveling. Her favorite trips were to the beaches in Florida.

Carol enjoyed a 35 year career in banking before retiring as a branch manager at Akron Savings in 2013. She was involved in many business and charitable organizations including Sales and Marketing Executives, Akron Rotary, the River's Edge Condo Board, Stark County Institute of Financial Education, Start County Board of Realtors, Alliance Housing Task Force and Habitat for Humanity. She was also honored as Cuyahoga Falls Business Person of the Year.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Theodore and Janet Close, and former husband, Thomas Morgan. She is survived by her children, Scott (Polly) Morgan and Jennifer Morgan; grandchildren, Allison Morgan, Claire Morgan and Jack Clapper; sisters, Patty Weingart and Gayle Blair. She also dearly loved her wonderful friends in Cuyahoga Falls and Cleveland.

Cremation has taken place and friends may call one hour prior to an 11 AM memorial service on Thursday December 31, 2015 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to American Heart Assn, PO Box 15120, Chicago IL 60693. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
