Carolyn Greene

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Carolyn Jane Greene, 95, passed away December 18, 2015. She was born in Akron and was a life-long Cuyahoga Falls resident. Carolyn graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1938, going on to serve her country in the U.S Navy. She worked as a Floral Designer for Thorps Florist before retiring from Akron General Medical Center. Carolyn was a member of OES Chapter 245 and the Church Of Christ of Cuyahoga Falls.

Preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Alan Greene; and sister, Bernice Line; she is survived by her daughter, Annette (Del) Grodecki; grandchildren, Sarah Greene and Michael Tierce (Julie Criscione); great-granddaughter, Khaela Tierce; and many great-nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Internment will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Humane Society 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH, 44087. Services entrused to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
