Carolyn Sheehan

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Carolyn Ann Sheehan, 92 passed away October 11, 2015.
Carolyn was born in Cleveland Ohio to Joseph and Mary (Nemeth) Adametz. She graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland, Oh. Carolyn worked 3 years in order to pay for her college education. Carolyn graduated from Kent State College, cum laude in 1948 with a degree in sociology. Carolyn became a licensed social worker in 1987. Carolyn's work experience includes working at the Florence Crittenton Services of Akron, Oh and retiring from the Children and Family Services in Akron, Ohio.

Carolyn had a love for reading and could not wait to visit the local libraries to find a new adventure through books. Carolyn was an avid daily walker around her neighborhood until she left this earth.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marie Green and brother, Joseph Adametz. Carolyn leaves behind her daughter, Wendy (Mike) O'Leary of Copley, her son, Shawn (Priscilla) Sheehan of NJ, and her daughter, Stacey (Patrick) Jones of Silver Lake. Carolyn loved her many grandchildren and adored her great-grandchildren. Mom you will be greatly missed, may you find peace and love for eternity.
Friend may call from 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17 until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating.
