Carolyn Simes

Carolyn R. Simes, 82 of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away June 20, 2020. She was born in Akron, OH, daughter of the late Deneal and Janice Jacobs.  She served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross.  Carolyn devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.  She also loved her dogs with all her heart.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is now reunited with her husband, Charles Simes, and son, Charles "Danny" Simes.

She is survived by her children, Becky Simes of Stow, Robert (Diana) Simes or Barberton, and Pamela (David) Hazell of Canton; grandchildren, Holly Hazell, Dave Hazell, Kelly (Charles) Burgan and Carly Simes; great-grandchildren, Emily and Gavin.

Carolyn will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery.  Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Endometriosis Association, https://endometriosisassn.org in honor of her daughter Becky.  Arrangements entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
