Carroll (Carl) Leach
Carroll (Carl) Leach, 84, of Brevard, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018.
Born in Beaver Dam, Ky., he was the son of the late Elijah Buel Leach and Mary Susan Raines Leach. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gene Leach and granddaughter, Renee (Atterholt) Beebe.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force http://www.legacy.com/memorial-sites/air-force/?personid=188549185andaffiliateID=251 and attended Kent State University where he worked as the Director of Business Services until his retirement. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed camping.
Loving survivors include his wife of 64 years, Barbara (Eiber) Leach; his children, Cynthia Atterholt (Dan) of Waynesville, N.C., Kenneth (Amy) of St. Augustine, Fla., and Catherine Stone (Vernon) of Lanexa, Va.; grandchildren, Chad, Marci, Kristen, Jodi, Holly; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) is handling the funeral arrangements. Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park (2613 Sackett Ave. Cuyahoga Falls), on Thursday, March 29th at 2:00 p.m.
