Catherine Seybold

Catherine L. Seybold, 89, died Sunday, October 1, 2006 after a short illness. Mrs. Seybold was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1961, moving there from Springfield Lake. She was a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church and enjoyed card playing.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family and life-long friends as a strong, energetic woman of faith who believed strongly in family. She nurtured, counseled and deeply loved us all. Catherine was the glue that held her family together. Now she has joined the love of her life, Richard Seybold, and the two of them will continue together what they did all along when they were here; watch over the ones they love. We will all miss you so much.

Preceded in death by her husband, Richard L; daughter, Jane L. Clegg and brother, Roy Kent she is survived by her daughter, Eileen Dipane; son, Larry (Mary) Seybold; son-in-law, Ambrose Clegg; grandchildren, Sonya Seybold, Julie Sokolovits, Jennifer Seybold, Jane Dipane and Jackie Ferguson and great-grandchildren, Michael, Kenny and Kala Ferguson, Tyanna Sokolovits and Carl and Crystal Parr.

The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 am Thursday at St. Eugene's. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth. Memorials may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333-6118.
