Cecilia Ann Elick

Cecilia Ann Elick, age 65, passed away peacefully at home in Cuyahoga Falls, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. With a heart full of love and a spirit of unwavering faith, Cecilia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her. Her dedication to her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and her gentle nature will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Cecilia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mick Elick. Together, they built a life full of cherished memories. She was a guiding light to her children, her son Matthew Elick and his wife Stephanie, and her daughter Melissa Elick and fiance, Joseph McGreal. Lovingly known as "TaTa" to her beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Noah, and Jackson, brought her endless joy. Her grandchildren will forever remember her warmth, wisdom, and nurturing spirit, which she offered unconditionally.

Cecilia had a profound connection to nature, often finding peace in the beauty of God's creation. Whether in the serenity of a morning walk or feeding the birds, her appreciation for the simple wonders of the world reflected her deep faith in the Lord. Her steadfast belief in His grace was a constant source of comfort and guidance, a faith she passed on to her family.

Although her presence will be dearly missed, Cecilia’s legacy of love, kindness, and faith lives on in her children and grandchildren. She will continue to inspire them, as her love remains an eternal part of their lives. Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and private family services will be held.

Cecilia’s family takes comfort in knowing that she is at peace, fully healed and embraced by the love of God, and that her spirit will always be with them.

“But those who wait on the lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, and they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint”  Isaiah 40:31
