Charles Ard

AURORA - Charles David Ard, 23, passed away suddenly on May 11, 2016. He was born in Bedford and resided in Cuyahoga Falls, before moving to Aurora. Charlie graduated from Woodridge High School in 2010. Charlie's passions were gardening, video games, music and golf. Charlie filled the hearts of everyone he touched with a bright joy and unconditional love. The depths of the courage and strength that carried him through his days on earth will never be realized. Please always remember him for his love, joy, and kindness. With every thought of him please take a moment to thank him for however he's touched your life. Always in our hearts, we love you Charlie.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Greene, grandmother, Marilyn Ard; and uncle, Tim Greene; he is survived by his mother, Amber Greene (Mark Hembree); father, David (Carol) Ard; siblings, Sydnee (Amanda) Greene and Adam Ard; grandmother, Evelyn Greene; grandfather, Charles Ard; and aunts, uncles and cousins; friends, Savannah, Michael, John and Grant.

Friends may call from 1-4 PM Sunday May 15, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday May 16. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, OH.

In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention- in Charlie's honor. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
