Charles Kindig

Charles E. Kindig, 76, passed away September 29, 2006. Mr. Kindig was born in Akron where he had resided his entire life. He retired in 1992 from Goodyear Tire and Rubber having worked as a chauffeur and in maintenance and was a Veteran of the Korean War having served with the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Pearl Kindig and sister, Maryann Walton and is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Patricia Kindig of Cuyahoga Falls and James E. and Sybil Kindig of Tennessee and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:45 am Tuesday at St. Joseph's. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 4904 Quick Road, Peninsula, OH 44264.
