On February 6, 2018 Claudia lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She battled against cancer with grace and unbelievable strength for almost three years and was finally called home surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born March 19, 1951 to the late John L. Homsher and Dorothy (Ehrhardt) Homsher Landwehr in Zanesville, Ohio. She grew up in Tallmadge and after serving six years in the Army she settled in Mesa, Arizona. After the Army Claudia made a career in the aeronautics field for many years, loving the travel this afforded her. She always had a smile and gave unconditional love to family and friends alike. To the end she wanted everyone to be ok with her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim.
She is survived by her son, Sean Allaire and his wife Lindsay; and grand-daughter, Lexi; grandsons, Connor and Mason.
She is also survived by sister, Jacquelyn Homsher Batcheller (Terry); brother, David V. Homsher (Mary); brother, John L Homsher Jr. (Mary); sister, Anna M. Homsher Hershberger (John); and brother. Gilbert H. Landwehr (Joy); and 13 nieces and nephews.
There is a large void in our lives with her passing and she will be missed by family and friends alike
