COPLEY-Coe William Wadelin passed away November 25, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carolyn Gould (Walker) Wadelin; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Sharon of Bartlett, Illinois; grandsons, Matthew (Meaghan), Christopher (Erin), and Colin; and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Carolyn, Scarlett Marie, and Coe William Wadelin II.

Coe was born in Dover, Ohio, August 18, 1927 to George William Wadelin and Estelle Ripley Wadelin. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1945, served in the U.S. Army, and then received degrees from Mt. Union College and Purdue University. He retired in 1987 after 33 years of service with the Research Division of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Cuyahoga Falls, the American Chemical Society, and Sigma Nu Fraternity.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted by Dr. David Baker at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 at 3:30 PM on Thursday November 30, 2017. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the time of service. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Gifts and Memorials Fund. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
