Constance "Connie" Louise Grosso

Cuyahoga Falls-Constance “Connie” Louise (Carter) Grosso, 78, passed away August 30, 2022 with her children by her side. Connie was born in Akron, Ohio on March 20, 1944. Connie was known for her big heart, tremendous generosity and her ability to make others laugh. All who knew her described her as the most sweet but sassy lady. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers.

 She is survived by her children, Christopher “Michael” Weirtz, Mary Frances Weirtz and Jacqueline Ann (Dan) Thompson; grandchildren, Christopher Weirtz, Jonas Weirtz, Rachel Kariotis, Sarah Bashlor, Alexandra Thompson, Nicholas Robinson and Brendan Weirtz; 5 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be having private services.    

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the, Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron, OH 44307-2234.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Western Reserve Hospital, Western Reserve Hospice, and the staff at Heather Knoll, who cared for her.
