Cynthia Knepper

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Cynthia S. (Yeric) Knepper, 69, went home to the Lord on October 22, 2016 after a brief and courageous battle with lymphoma.

She was born to Raymond and Catherine Markl Severns on July 2, 1947 in Akron, Ohio. Cindie lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1965. As a single mom, she raised 3 wonderful sons. Loving, caring and supporting them in countless sports, marching band and the myriad of activities of 3 very energetic boys. Worked at B F Goodrich and 38 years at Akron Children's Hospital as Patient Services Director Secretary. She was a founding member of Children's Parent Advisory Council and had been active in Spina Bifida Club of Akron.

With a leap of faith around 5 years ago Cindie was reunited with a longtime friend, Bob Knepper, and on September 14, 2013 they were married. It is safe to say the last 5 years have been the happiest of her life.

She is survived by husband, Robert; children, Byron Yeric (Denise) of Olive Branch, MS, John Yeric (Krista) of Bowling Green, KY and Daniel Yeric of Cuyahoga Falls. Grandchildren, Corall, Bethany, Benjamin, Grace, Connor and Jayln Yeric. Leaving also loved stepchildren, Bob (Wendy), Jamie (Jen) and Denise Knepper and grandchildren Logan, David, Coraly, Sydney and Katelynn Knepper; sisters, Kay Dunbar and Jane Gross (Dick) of Cuyahoga Falls.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday October 27, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221 and 1 hour prior to an 11 am funeral service on Friday October 28 at the Tallmadge Lutheran Church 759 East Ave. Tallmadge, OH 44278.

In lieu of other remembrances memorial may be made to Tallmadge Lutheran Church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
